The life of the average founder or solopreneur is often lonely.
But when you’re unwilling to grow and lead your venture using strategies, tactics, and practices born from extractive capitalism? It can be even lonelier.
In addition to the “normal” reasons, like families and friends don’t really understand, it can feel extra isolating and challenging because you’re committed to a new business ethic.
It’s more difficult to find business guidance, inspiration, collaborators, and like-hearted community that’s built for transformative change.
I’ve experienced this. My clients experience this. Business friends and collaborators I know experience this.
And it’s a big reason why I decided to take on this project.
And I’m approaching it as an experiment. Let’s see how it goes, together.
About now you might be wondering who is writing this.
Hey there, I’m Jeni. I’m a former brand and strategy consultant turned transformational leadership coach and money healer. I work with self-employed consultants, creatives, coaches, and healers eschewing the extractive practices of late stage capitalism to build businesses that are expressions of love in action.
As I begin this project, there are three areas I’d like to explore:
💚 Nurturing embodied self-love and inner calm
Exploring mindfulness, meditation, somatic and energetic presence, nature connection, creative expression, and spirituality as avenues to feel your best, lead with love, and develop the capacity to show up every day with strength, courage, and conviction, especially amidst profound suffering and loss.
💸 Money as medicine
Creating a loving, sacred partnership with money as ally; healing money trauma; earning the amount of money you require to live a good life, guilt-free; flourishing financially in the present and future.
🌀 Radical reimagining of business
Centering business practices that model love in action, create harmony within founders and in relation to their clients, customers, communities, further peace and justice, and benefit the more-than-human world while fostering collective wellbeing.
Here’s how we’ll roll.
A few times a month, I’ll bring you research, interviews, case studies, and stories that center radically loving ways to do good business without harming ourselves in the process.
All this goodness for free.
Although I’ll likely turn on paid subscriptions at some point (giving people who want to support this work financially a way to do so), everything will be accessible to all. Nothing will be behind a paywall.
